Ladies, next week we will explore the life of another amazing saint, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. We’ll explore the life and work of this incredible woman, who crossed oceans, saved orphans, and founded more than 67 orphanages and schools. Join us on Thursdays, Oct. 15th and 22nd, in the St. Joseph meeting room from 9:30 to 11 AM. Plus we will screen the movie Cabrini on Monday, Oct. 19th, at 9:30 AM. Come to any or all of these! The Columbiettes are offering an opportunity to purchase a flag in honor of a veteran. Flags will be placed in alphabetical order around the sidewalk leading into the Church on Kingston Road from Nov. 7th thru 13th, with the veteran’s name and branch displayed on an attached card. On Friday, November 13th, Bishop McDevitt Assembly #920, 4th Degree Honor Guard, will be hosting their 5th Annual Veterans Appreciation Mass & Dinner. The Mass will be held in the Divine Mercy Chapel at 6 PM. Click here for more information!

The Columbiettes are a group of dedicated Catholic women who actively participate with our Knights of Columbus brothers in providing for the needs of our parishes, schools, and community. Our next initiation ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25th, at 2 PM. Each year, on or near Nov. 2nd, the Church celebrates a day of remembrance for those who have passed on to Eternal Life. Please join us for our All Souls Memorial Mass on Monday, Nov. 2nd, at 7 PM. Many children in developing countries experience Christmas without hope and come from families that are too poor to provide them with even life's basic necessities. These children likely have never owned a picture book, a toy, or even a toothbrush. That is why the Knights of Columbus are partnering with Cross Catholic Outreach to participate in the Box of Joy ministry. Click here for details!

The York District Council of Catholic Women invites couples and their families in York County Parishes who celebrate their 25th Silver Anniversary in 2025 or 2026 to a special Mass to commemorate your love and commitment to each other, the Sacrament of Marriage and to receive a blessing as a group. Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Sunday, Oct. 25th, at St. Joseph Church in York with a light luncheon for the couples and their families to follow. Another Day, Another Smile: Prayer and the Will of God speaks about what prayer is through the thoughts of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Francis de Sales, and others (Augustine, St. John Damascene, Teresa of Avila, etc.), as well as various Scripture passages to make prayer an ordinary and sustaining “daily bread” of our lives. Likewise, the idea of the Heart, the Will of God, and living the Spiritual Life are also included. Ladies, come join us as we learn about the life and amazing revelations of St. Faustina, who was a nun, a mystic and Apostle of Divine Mercy. What allowed her to receive divine revelations and speak directly to Jesus? How is she relevant to our lives today? NEW Marriage Ministry program begins October 12th. The BEATITUDES: A Couple’s Path to Greater Joy. Join us on Mondays in the Youth Ministry meeting room, 6:00 PM-7:45PM, starting October 12th for 6 weeks skipping November 2nd. Ladies, come join us as we study the life and heroic virtues of Venerable, soon-to-be Blessed, Fulton J. Sheen. On Thursday, Sept. 17th, we will meet in the St. Francis Meeting Room from 9:30 to 11 AM. After watching a video, we will begin a discussion on his life and how we can apply his teachings and examples of his virtues to our own journey. The following week, Sept. 24th, we will continue our discussion. Join us as we support each other on our Walk to becoming a saint with Fulton Sheen as our inspiration!
