Keynote talk: "To Find or To Be Found" Workshop: "The Eucharist" by Sr. Mathilde DeLucy
Sister Mathilde DeLucy began her journey with the Sisters of Christian Charity in 2011. Sister attended Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg PA, where she met the Sisters of Christian Charity. She was instantly attracted by their love for the Blessed Sacrament, their devotion and filial love for Our Blessed Mother, and their mission to bring Christ Like Love to the world. While going through formation as a postulant, Sister Mathilde earned her Associates Degree from Assumption College for Sisters, and after one year of canonical Novitiate, Sister began studies at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. In 2015 Sister had the grace of professing her first vows, and in 2017 completed her degree obtaining certification for a triple major in Secondary Education, Music Education, and Theology.
Sister had the grace to profess her final vows in 2021 and give herself completely to our Lord, her heavenly bridegroom, the greatest joy and above all greatest blessing and accomplishment of her life. Sister currently serves as Campus Minister at Allentown Central Catholic High School. Sister, springing from her educational background also directs the schools two choirs, one established solely for the purpose of enhancing the liturgy, and one for concert and event purposes. She is blessed to be a spiritual mother to these wonderful children and even more graced that God continues to put up with her, and hopefully continues to use her as an imperfect instrument to make a path for Him in other’s hearts.
Workshop: "The Heart" by Zack Haney
Zack Haney is the Director for Youth and Young Adult Ministries for the Diocese of Harrisburg. A native son of the diocese from St Joseph in Danville, he took up the position in 2022. Since then, he has been blessed with the opportunity to serve ministry members and leaders throughout Youth Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, College Campus Ministry, Catholic Scouting, and CYO Sports. His duties have taken him from one end of the diocese to the other, across the country, and even all the way to Europe. He is excited to share the insights he has found! He deeply loves reading, writing, and speaking (particularly about God) and finds nothing is more beautiful than a good, insightful analogy (except maybe a good pun).
