We are a group of Catholic women offering spiritual support for one another in our struggles with chronic illness and physical pain. We meet weekly to study Scripture, grow in faith through friendship with Christ, and offer prayer for one another. We also pray specifically for new parishioners and deceased members of our parish and their families. Those who participate are bound to maintain confidentiality. We meet weekly on Wednesdays 1:00-3:00pm in the church meeting rooms.
Journey with us as “senior” Catholics! We meet the 1st Friday of each month from 9:30-11:30 AM in the church meeting rooms for fellowship and interesting talks on a variety of subjects, and at a local restaurant on the 3rd Monday of each month from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM to “Feed the Soul”. Bus trips are also planned! For current events, refer to the bulletin.
We come together to pray, encourage one another, and offer hope to others living with mental health challenges and other life stressors. This is not a counseling or therapy group. Rather, it is a faith-based gathering where we share our experiences, utilize group wisdom, and support one another. WE ARE NOT ALONE.
This ministry also seeks to educate ourselves and others about mental health, increase awareness, and help reduce the stigma that often surrounds mental health challenges.
Meeting Times: 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: Solanus Casey House, 405 Quaker Drive, York, PA (across the street from St. Joseph Church)
Facilitators: Barb Full, Theresa Kniery, Dr. Andre Lijoi
St. Joseph Parish is home to many Vietnamese parishioners who are also members of the Vietnamese Association of York. The Vietnamese Community participates in many spiritual and social events of the parish.
Our mission is to foster an environment where each baptized person can joyfully explore the potential of God’s call in his or her life by providing resources for prayer and discernment to the priesthood, consecrated life, and sacramental marriage. For more information about vocations, CLICK HERE.
Widows & Widowers Just Doing Life Together (WWJDLT)

All faiths are welcome. For current events, refer to the bulletin.
