VETERANS DAY FLAGS

The Columbiettes are offering an opportunity to purchase a flag in honor of or in memory of a veteran. Flags will be placed in alphabetical order around the sidewalk leading into the Church on Kingston Road from Nov. 8th to 14th with the Veteran’s name and branch displayed on an attached card. We are requesting a $5 donation per flag, cash or check (payable to For the Love of a Veteran, Inc.) Proceeds will benefit For the Love of a Veteran, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help those who selflessly protect us everyday. They give aid and raise funds for military families in need and homeless veterans. They also aim to raise awareness and help in the fight against PTSD. 100% of all donations go directly to our nation’s heroes. Forms are available at the reception desk at the parking lot entrance of the church. Please return forms and donation in an envelope labeled “Veterans Day” through the collection basket or mail/drop off to the church office at 2935 Kingston Road, York PA 17402 by Monday, Oct. 20th.
